What you will need to bring to your in studio cake smash session with Sarah B Photography , Located in south east Brisbane, Thornlands.

Your babies just turned One years old and you want to capture this special birthday!

Cake Smash is a brilliant idea, it keeps bubs entertained instead of running from the camera, its cute and it celebrates their little quirks perfectly.

You can either do a quick mini session, a few snaps of bubs with the cake and then a bubble bath after to clean up and get some cute bubble shots. Or if bub doesn’t like the bath you can opt to have a few prop shots at the beginning of the shoot before bubs gets messy.

The perfection package is perfect, for a few family and sibling shots before the cake smash. Some cute solo shots of bubs and then get smashing!! A little bubble bath after.

You can organise the cake yourself, or I have a brilliant cake maker as well.  Buttercream cakes work the best, they make a great mess.

You will need a bag to take home the messy clothes. Don’t forget a towel as well and some WIPES… Many many wipes!

Outfit wise, usually nudie up top works well or a little cute knitted romper for boys or a little lace or textured romper for girls. Again earthy colours work best with all my setups so nothing super bright!
